Consistency and Determination – Key Points in Getting Rid of Love handles!

Essentially, love handles are fat deposits. I for one believe that there is no easy way of getting rid of them but through a well planned diet and that is consistently followed. And of course, exercise! We’ve all probably heard of the many diet supplements and fat-burning drugs sold out there only to find out that they don’t really work for everyone and what’s worse, they cause harmful and unhealthy side effects to people who uses them. We all are hoping and dreaming of a body we can all be proud of right? And oftentimes, most of us would prefer the easy way of achieving the physique that we want. There are even people who take the risk of and right into the next diet pills “experts” would recommend them. But the harsh fact is, there is no easy way of doing it. You cannot reduce your body fat instantly and at will. That’s not how our body works. The key idea is reducing your daily calorie intake. This results into burning more body calories than what you take in.

Following this idea, it is then important that we reduce our intake of high carbohydrate foods and resort to a healthier and less sugar choice of foods for our meals. Yes, this is what you need to do if you are aiming to reduce body fat and eventually lose weight. Cardiovascular exercises that lets your heart get a workout of at least 50-80% of a person’s maximum heart rate. In layman’s term, this means that a 30 minutes workout is good for everyone whether you have a normal weight or you’re overweight. This keeps our body healthy and allows it to function normally. When we exercise, we burn calories.

Everyone might not be aware of it but after you exercise you still continue to burn calories. This is true because your metabolism remains at en elevated rate because of the exercise you did. Now I hope you are beginning to see the logic and benefits of doing exercise. I hope this becomes a driving force for everyone to be consistent and be determined in going to the gym on a regular basis.
